Craftsmanship & Care
At Bramber Signature Jewellery, every creation is a labor of love, meticulously shaped by hand from sterling silver and warm yellow gold. Our artisans wield time-honored tools- hand hammers that echo the rhythm of tradition, delicate bezel pushers that cradle each gemstone with care, and jeweller’s saws that carve with precision and grace. Each strike, each cut, tells a story of dedication, patience, and passion. The result is not simply jewellery, but a timeless treasure, where every imperfection is a mark of authenticity and every piece whispers elegance.
Care for your Piece
Your Bramber piece is crafted with care, combining fine metals and rare gemstones. To ensure its beauty endures for generations, follow these guidelines:
1. General Handling
- Always remove your jewellery before engaging in activities that may expose it to hard knocks, chemicals, or excessive heat.
- Avoid wearing your piece during swimming, showering, or exercise to prevent damage from water, sweat, or impact.
2. Cleaning & Maintenance
Gold & Silver:
- Gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- For silver, a specialized silver polishing cloth can restore shine without scratching.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or household chemicals.
Gemstones & Opals:
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth; avoid soaking opals in water for long periods.
- Never use ultrasonic cleaners on opals or delicate gemstones.
- Mild soap and lukewarm water may be used for sturdier stones (e.g., sapphire, ruby). Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
3. Storage
- Store jewellery separately in soft pouches or lined boxes to prevent scratching.
- Keep opals away from extreme temperature fluctuations and dry air; opals contain water and can crack if exposed to prolonged dryness.
- Avoid storing in direct sunlight for long periods, especially opals and colored gemstones, which may fade over time.
4. Wearing Your Collection Piece
- Apply cosmetics, perfumes, and hairspray before putting on your jewellery.
- Remove jewellery before shaving, grooming, or using tools that may scratch or damage your piece.
- Be mindful of gemstones with lower hardness (opal, pearl) when wearing daily; consider rotating pieces for longevity.
5. Professional Care
- For deep cleaning, inspection, or repair, bring your piece to a qualified jeweller.
- Regular inspections (every 12–18 months) can prevent loose settings and preserve gemstones’ integrity.
Special Note for Opals
- Opals are unique and sensitive gemstones.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes or prolonged exposure to strong light.
- Store in a slightly humid environment if possible, and never leave in airtight dry containers for extended periods.
With proper care, your Bramber Collection piece will remain a timeless expression of elegance and craftsmanship.
